    The predictive effect of the detection of cervicovaginal secretion fetal fibronectin in term pregnancy

    • Objective: To investigate the clinical predictive effect of the ervicovaginal secretion fetal fibronectin(FFN) in term pregnancy.Methods: Two hundred and forty-seven pregnant women with 37 to 41+6 pregnancy weeks were divided into the positive and negative FFN group.The delivery methods between two groups were compared.The puerperas with vaginal delivery were selected,the delivery time of which was analyzed for evaluating the value of FFN in intrapartum.Results: The vaginal delivery and cesarean section rates in the pregnant women with the positive expression of cervicovaginal secretion FFN were 70.83% and 29.17%,respectively,while the vaginal delivery and cesarean section rates in the pregnant women with the negative expression of cervicovaginal secretion FFN were 57.48% and 42.52%,respectively,the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The vaginal delivery time in pregnant women with positive FFN was significantly less than that in pregnant women with negative FFN(P<0.01).The 7 d-delivery rates in pregnant women with positive FFN and negative FFN were 90.59% and 67.12%,respectively,the difference of which was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions: The detection of cervicovaginal secretion FFN in term pregnancy has clinical significance.
