Abstract
Objective: To investigate the correlations between red blood cell distribution width(RDW),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),and clinical index of osteoarthritis(OA).Methods: Forty-two OA patients and 44 healthy people were divided into the OA group and control group. The correlations between the levels of RDW and NLR,and disease activity index in OA patients were analyzed. Results: The levels of RDW and NLR in OA group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01).The scores of RDW and NLR in OA group were positively correlated with the scores of erythrocyte sedimentation rate and visual analogue scale(P<0.01).Conclusions: The RDW and NLR maybe a good index in estimating the disease activity of OA.
