Abstract
Objective: To investigate the application effects of fast track surgery(FTS) in nursing the perioperative patients treated with the modified radical mastectomy. Methods: Thirty-five patients in 2014 and 35 patients in 2015 were divided into the control group and observation group, respectively. The control group were nursed with routine care, and the observation group were additionally nursed with FTS based on the control group. The incidence of postoperative complications and recovery of the arm function between two groups were compared. Results: The differences of the incidences of the subcutaneous hydrops, flap necrosis and upper limb edema between two groups were not statistical significant(P>0.05).The function recovery of the injury limb in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.01).The hospitalization time in observation group was significantly shorter than that in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions: The FTS concept can improve the recovery of arm function in patients treated with the modified radical mastectomy, and do not increase the incidence of complication.
