The clinical application of comprehensive nursing in patients with diabetes complicated with tuberculosis

    • Objective: To explore the clinical effects of comprehensive nursing on patients with diabetes complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis, and nursing measures. Methods: Eighty-seven diabetic patients complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis were randomly divided into the observation group(45 cases) and control group(42 cases). The control group were nursed using routine method, and the observation group were nursed using comprehensive nursing based on routine method. The levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2h postprandial blood glucose(2hPG) and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),tuberculosis outcome and adverse reactions between two groups were compared. Results: Compared with before nursing, the levels of FPG,2hPG and HbA1c in two groups significantly decreased after nursing(P<0.01).The decreasing degree of the levels of FPG,2hPG and HbA1c in observation group after nursing were more obvious than that in control group(P<0.01).The cavity closure rate, lesion absorption rate and tubercle bacillus negative conversion rate in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidences of adverse reactions in observation group and control group were 2.22% and 14.30%,respectively.The differences of the incidences of hypoglycemia, bounce hyperglycemia, infection and malnutrition were statistically significant(P=0.230 to P=1.000).The nursing satisfaction rate in observation group(93.33%) was significantly higher than that in control group(76.2%)(P<0.05).Conclusions: The comprehensive nursing care can effectively stable the blood glucose, which is conducive to sputa turn negative, lesion absorption, reduce adverse reactions, improve treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
