The pregnancy and its influencing factors in patients after myomectomy

    • Objective: To investigate the pregnancy and its influencing factors in no contraception patients after myomectomy. Methods: One hundred and twelve patients after myomectomy were investigated using consulting medical record and telephone consultation. The demographics, operation situation, hysteromyoma type and pregnant outcome in no contraception patients were recorded. Results: The pregnancy rate in patients with age ≥35(56.1%) was lower than that in patients with age<35(87.3%)(P<0.01).The pregnancy rate in patients treated with assisting reproductive technology(50.0%) was lower than that in patients treated without assisting reproductive technology(79.0%)(P<0.05).The pregnancy rate in patients with higher education(88.6%) was higher than that in patients without higher education(67.6%)(P<0.01).The more the pregnancy number was,the less the postoperative pregnancy rate was(P<0.01).The differences of the postoperative pregnancy rate in different operation method, preoperative symptom, and number and size of hysteromyoma were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions: Age,pregnancy history and infertility factor are the influencing factors of pregnancy in patient after myomectomy, the operation method and hysteromyoma type have not effect on the postoperative pregnancy.
