The related factors of the postoperative infection in breast surgery and its countermeasures

    • Objective: To explore the related factors of the postoperative infection in breast surgery and its countermeasures. Methods: The clinical data of 362 patients treated with breast surgery were retrospectively analyzed. The independent risk factors of the postoperative infection were screened using logistic regression analysis, and the effective countermeasures were implemented. Results: Among 362 patients, the postoperative infection in 8 cases were found, the infection rate of which was 2.2%.Logistic regression analysis showed that breast surgery type, operation time, and povidone iodine cleaning wound were the independent risk factor of postoperative infection(P<0.05).Conclusions: Strengthening the clinician skill and specifying the postoperative nursing process can significantly reduce the postoperative infection rate of breast.
