Effect of Oxymatrine on the drug sensitive test of E.coli in vitro

Objective: To observe the effects of Oxymatrine on the drug sensitive test of the standard strain of E.coli in vitro.Methods: Oxymatrine were diluted to the 8 000 mg/L,4 000 mg/L,2 000 mg/L,1 000 mg/L,500 mg/L,250 mg/L,125 mg/L and 62.5 mg/L with 0.9% sodium chloride injection using the double dilution method.The containing-drug culture medium(each concentration of 3) were prepared according to the ratio of drug solution(MH agar for 1:9),and the blank and 0.9% sodium chloride injection were set as the control.After the E.coli recovery,the bacterium was inoculated to each medium using inoculating loop,and placed in 36℃ incubator for 24 h,and the result of which was observed.Results: The growth of E.coli in each culture medium containing-drug is good,the difference of the growth of E.coli in culture medium and control group is not obvious.Conclusions: The Oxymatrine has no effect on the growth of E.Coli.
