Effect of the integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine nursing on the quality of life in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of the integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on the quality of life in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Methods: According to the digital table method,82 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were divided into the observation group and control group(41 cases each group).Two groups were nursed using routine intervention(including health education,psychological care,close monitoring vital signs,guiding medication,rehabilitation training and diet instruction),and the observation group were additionally nursed with Chinese acupuncture and massage treatment.After 4 weeks of nursing intervention,the activities of daily living(ADL),limb motor function and effective rate between two groups were compared.Results: Compared with before intervention,the ADL and score of limb motor function in two groups were significantly improved after nursing intervention,the improvement in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.01).The difference of the treatment effects between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions: The combination of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine nursing intervention can improve the activities of daily living and limb motor function of patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.
