Analysis of positive results and drug resistance in 76 cases of blood culture of neonatal septicemia

    • Objective: To understand the neonatal septicemia pathogen and drug resistance analysis of pathogens, and provide the basis for clinical rational use of antibiotics, timely and clearly. Methods: Detections of pathogenic bacteria and drug sensitivity results were retrospectively analyzed in neonatal septicemia. Results: Seventy-six strains of pathogens were isolated in the blood samples in clinical diagnosis of sepsis, including 71 strains of gram positive bacteria cases(93.4%) The top three were Staphylococcus epidermidis 35(46.0%),Staphylococcus haemolyticus 20(26.3%),Enterococcus 6 cases(7.9%);4 strains of gram negative bacteria(5.3%);Candida 1 strains(1.3%) of gram positive bacteria. The resistance that gram positive bacteria to penicillin, amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium and ampicillin, oxacillin was high,There was no resistance to vancomycin and linezolid. Conclusions: It is important to detect the drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria of neonatal septicemia, and base on the drug sensitivity results of sensitive antimicrobial drugs to take rational use of antibiotics to reduce the emergence of bacterial resistance, improve the clinical treatment effect.
