The assessment of tuberculosis infection risk in medical personnel and its intervention strategy in tuberculosis hospital

Objective: To investigate the tuberculosis(TB) infection risks of medical personnel and its intervention strategy in TB hospital.Methods: The age,gender,length of work,type of personnel,marital status,title and education level in 86 medical personnel were investigated using self-designed questionnaire,which was evaluated using Likert 5-rating method.The influencing factors of TB infection risk were analyzed,and the corresponding intervention strategies were formulated.Results: The age,length of work,type of personnel and professional title were the main risks of TB infection of medical personnel in TB hospital(P<0.01).Conclusions: In the process of clinical medical care in TB hospital,the medical personnel face many infection risks.The corresponding intervention strategy should be formulated by medical institution according to the individual difference,which is used to safeguard the health of medical personnel.
