Effect of the MIP on antiarrhythmic effect and operation time in AMI patients treated with PCI

    • Objective:To investigate the effects of myocardial ischemia postconditioning(MIP) on the antiarrhythmic effect and operation time in acute myocardial infarction(AMI) patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Ninety ST segment elevation AMI(STEMI) patients firstly treated with PCI were divided into the MIP group and PCI group using a random number table.Patients in group MIP were given temporary pacing, drugs, low pressure expansion of the culprit vascular lesions.Conventional PCI group after the opening of the culprit after the occurrence of reperfusion arrhythmia, then take conventional treatment measures. The arrhythmia types, coronary artery lesion characteristics, duration of reperfusion arrhythmia, and PCI operation time and lead electrocardiogram(ECG) related falling value of the ST segment between two groups were compared. Results:The differences of the ECG related falling value of the ST segment, arrhythmia type and coronary artery lesion characteristics between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the differences of the duration of reperfusion arrhythmia and PCI operation time between two groups were significant(P<0.05),and those in MIP group were shorter than those in PCI group. Conclusions:MIP can reduce the time of reperfusion arrhythmia in AMI patients treated with PCI,and significantly shorten the operation time.
