    The application value of continuous vacuum suction airway management technology in the treatment of severe pulmonary contusion

    • Objective:To investigate the application value of continuous vacuum suction airway management technology in the treatment of severe pulmonary contusion.Methods:Fifty-six patients with severe pulmonary contusion were treated with the same mechanical ventilation,and randomly divided into two groups.One group were treated with continuous vacuum suction airway management technology(group A,n=27) and the other group were treated without continuous vacuum suction airway management technology(group B,n=29).The mechanical ventilation time and arterial blood gas between two groups were compared.Results:The differences of the mechanical ventilation time and expiratory positive pressure level after 48h of ventilation,partial pressure of oxygen after 6h and 24h of ventilation,and oxygenation index after 24h of ventilation between two groups were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions:The continuous vacuum suction airway management technology in the treatment of severe pulmonary contusion can improve the oxygenation index and expiratory positive pressure level of patients,which has obvious assisting influence.
