Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of modified double incision locking plate in the treatment of complex tibial plateau fractures and Merchant knee joint function score after operation. Methods: Sixteen patients with complex tibial plateau fractures were treated with modified double incision locking plate. The intraoperative bleeding, postoperative healing time, full weight-bearing time and Merchant knee function score in all cases were observed. Results: The intraoperative bleeding, postoperative healing time and full weight-bearing time were(184.03±9.37)mL,(87.39±11.83)d and(100.57±13.58)d,respectively.The postoperative Merchant knee joint function score showed excellent in 8 cases, good in 5 cases, fair in 2 cases and poor in 1 case, and the excellent and good rate of which was 81.25%.Conclusions: The modified double incision locking plate in the treatment of complex tibial plateau fractures is stable method, with short healing and full weight-bearing time, and high Merchant knee function score.
