    Effect of the addition and subtraction Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on the serum interleukin level in mice with functional dyspepsia

    • Objective: To investigate the effects of addition and subtraction Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on the levels of serum interleukin(IL)-2,IL-4 and IL-6 in mice with functional dyspepsia(FD). Methods: The FD model of mice was established by irregular diet and drinking acidification water,and randomly divided into the normal group,model group,Chinese medicine group,western medicine group and combination group.The general state of mice was observed,and the serum levels of IL-2,IL-4 and IL-6 in mice were measured. Results: The body mass in model group was lower than that in Western medicine group(P<0.05),which was significantly lower than that in control group,Chinese medicine group and combination group(P<0.01),and the body mass in western medicine group was significantly lower than that in combination group(P<0.01).The food consumption in model group was significantly lower than that in control group,western medicine group and Chinese medicine group(P<0.01).The food consumption in western medicine group was lower than that in Chinese medicine group(P<0.05),and significantly lower than that in combination group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the levels of IL-2,IL-4 and IL-6 in medication administration groups significantly decreased(P<0.01).Compared with the western medicine group,the slevels of IL-4 and IL-6 in Chinese medicine group and combination group significantly decreased(P<0.01).Compared with the Chinese medicine group,the slevels of IL-6 in combination group significantly decreased(P<0.01). Conclusions: The add and subtract Xiangshaliujunzitang can improve the immune ability so as to achieve the purpose of the treatment of functional dyspepsia.And its curative effect havea strong advantage over Motilium.But the combination of Chinese and Western medicine can give full play to their advantages to achieve better therapeutic purposes.
