Assessment of efficacy of modified Yangmo Decoction in the treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type thin endometrium

Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of the modified Yangmo Decoction in the treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type thin endometrium. Methods: Eighty patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis type thin endometrium were divided into the observation group(n=40) and control group(n=40) according to the different treatment methods.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,and the observation group was treated with the modified Yangmo Decoction based on control group.The clinical efficacy of two groups was evaluated,and the endometrial thickness and hemodynamic changes of uterine basilar artery were examined by ultrasonography.The follicular development was observed,and the pregnancy rates of two groups were analyzed. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group(92.5%) was significantly higher than that of control group(75.00%)(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in endometrial thickness between two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the endometrial thickness in observation group was significantly thicker than that in control group after treatment(P<0.05).There were no statistical significances in the resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index(PI) between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the RI and PI in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the initial number of follicles and follicular diameter in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The total number of follicles in observation group and control group was 55 and 49,respectively,and the 76.36% and 57.14% of follicles were mature follicles(diameter ≥ 18 mm)(P<0.05),and the difference of which was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the clinical pregnancy rate and biochemical pregnancy rate in observation group(47.50% and 22.50%) were significantly higher than those in control group(25.00% and 5.00%),respectively(P<0.05). Conclusions: Modified Yangmo Decoction is significantly effective in the treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type thin endometrium,which plays an important role in improving the endometrial thickness,follicular development and pregnancy rate.
