Comparison of curative effect between two different intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia complicated with cataract

Objective:To compare the clinical effects between two different intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia complicated with cataract.Methods:A total 40 patients(60 eyes) with high myopia complicated with cataract were selected,and treated with phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation.Nineteen cases(31 eyes,A group) and 21 cases(29 eyes,B group) were treated with MI60 lens and MA60MA lens,respectively.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure,anterior chamber depth before operation and after 6 months of operation,and complications between two groups were compared.Results:Compared before operation,the BCVA in two groups increased after 6 months of operation,and the difference of the BCVA between two groups was not statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in intraocular pressure in two groups between before operation and after 6 months of operation (P>0.05).Compared before operation,the anterior chamber depth significantly deepened in two groups,and the deepening degree of anterior chamber in A group was more than that in B group(P<0.05).No serious complications occurred in two groups.Conclusions:Compared with MA60MA lens,the treatment of patients with high myopia complicated with cataract with MI60 can sustain the anterior chamber depth,reduce the occurrence of posterior capsular membrane ruffle and posterior capsular opacity,and the interference to vitreous retinal.
