The application of clinical nursing combined with home self-care in children with asthma

Objective:To explore the application value of clinical nursing combined with home self-care in children with asthma.Methods:Sixty children with asthma were randomly divided into the control group and observation group(30 cases each group).The control group was nursed with routine method,and the observation was nursed with clinical nursing combined with home self-care.The effective rate of controlling asthma,recurrence rate of asthma,disappearance time of asthma symptom,and mean hospitalization time of patients between two groups were compared.Results:The effective rate of controlling asthma in observation group(96.67%) was significantly higher than that in control group(63.33%)(P<0.01).The recurrence rate of asthma in observation group(6.67%) was lower than that in control group(26.67%)(P<0.05).The disappearance time of asthma symptom and mean hospitalization time in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:Clinical nursing combined with home self-care for children with asthma can improve the effective rate of controlling asthma,reduce the recurrence rate of asthma,promote the improvement of asthma symptoms,and shorten the length of hospitalization time,which is worthy of promotion.
