Effect of staging pertinent nursing intervention on muscle strength, quality of life and treatment compliance in hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction

    • Objective:To explore the effects of staging pertinent nursing intervention on muscle strength, quality of life and treatment compliance in hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction. Methods:One hundred and twenty hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into control group and observation group using the random number table method(60 cases each group). The control group and observation group were given the conventional rehabilitation nursing and staging pertinent nursing intervention, respectively. The muscle strength,NIHSS score,Barthel index score, quality of life and treatment compliance between before and after invention in two groups were compared. Results:The differences of the muscle strength,NIHSS score and Barthel index score before intervention between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with before intervention, the muscle strength and Barthel index score significantly increased(P<0.01),the NIHSS score significantly decreased in two groups after intervention(P<0.01),and the improvement of which in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.01).The difference of the total compliance rate before intervention between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with before intervention, the treatment compliance rate in two groups increased after intervention, and the total compliance rate in observation group(95.00%) was significantly higher than that in control group(83.33%)(P<0.01).The difference of the quality of life score before intervention between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with before intervention, the quality of life score in two groups significantly increased after intervention(P<0.01),and the increasing degree of the quality of life score in observation group was more obvious than that in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:The staging pertinent nursing intervention can significantly improve the muscle strength, neurological function, ability of daily life, quality of life and treatment compliance in hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction.
