Clinical efficacy of mesalazine enter-coated tablets combined with traditional Chinese medicine enema in the treatment of damp-heat ulcerative colitis

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of mesalazine enter-coated tablets combined with traditional Chinese medicine enema in the treatment of damp-heat intrinsic ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods: Eighty patients with damp-heat UC were randomly divided into the control group(40 cases,treatment with mesalazine enter-coated tablets by oral) and observation group(40 cases treatment with mesalazine enter-coated tablets by oral combined with Chinese medicine enema).After treatment,the effects in two groups were evaluated using TCM Syndrome Evaluation Grade and improved UC Mayo Score.Results: After treatment,the score of TCM syndrome,TCM syndrome,improved UC Mayo Score and interleukin-2 in observation were significantly better than those in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions: The efficacy of mesalazine enter-coated tablets combined with traditional Chinese medicine enema in the treatment of the damp-heat intrinsic UC patients is good,which is worthy of application and promotion in clinic.
