Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of 64-MSCT urography(CTU) technique in urinary system disease. Methods: The CT findings of 51 patients with urinary sysytem disease were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were examined using the CT plain scanning and enhanced three-phase scanning(renal cortex phase, renal parenchyma phase and excretory phase scanning). The primitive data were transferred to the workstation, and the MPR,MIP,CPR and VR images were analyzed. Results: Among 51 cases with urinary system disease, urinary stone in 30 cases, tumor in 15 cases(including 13 cases with bladder carcinoma,2 cases with pyeloureteral carcinoma),tuberculosis in 2 cases, and congenital malformation in 4 cases(including 1 case with megaloureter,1 case with pyeloureteral duplication deformity,1 case with ureteral cyst and 1case with ureterostenosis complicated with hydronephrosis). Conclusions: CTU can intuitively and clearly show the urinary tract, which has high diagnostic value in urologic disease.
