Investigation of community health service utilization and satisfaction of Bengshan district residents in Bengbu city

Objective:To investigate the community health service(CHS) utilization and satisfaction of Bengshan district residents in Bengbu city,and its influencing factors.Methods:The community residents(more than or equal to 15 years old) from Benshang district were investigated using typical sampling method,and the results of which was statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA.Results:The awareness rate of residents to CHS was 83.60%(311/372),and 156 people(41.94%) utilized the CHS in the latest one year.The evaluation of residents on service attitude of medical staff and protecting personal privacy were the highest,and the evaluation of residents on clinical application verbosity,basic drug supply,drug price,charge,basic equipment configuration,following-up,health examination,health education service and maternal and child care were lower,especially the maternal and child care was the lowest in CHS institutions.The main factors affecting the residents utilizing the CHS included monthly income,medical payment and proportion of family income(P<0.05 toP<0.01),and the main factors affecting satisfaction of residents included age and occupation(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusions:Although the awareness of residents CHS is higher,the utilization and satisfaction of residents on CHS are relatively low because of the shortage of software and hardware of CHS institution and uncorrect clinic concept of residents.Therefore,the relevant departments should take targeted measures to the main influencing factors to develop the "Six in One" function of CHS.
