Effect of nursing intervention on the early screening cognition and behavior in first-degree relative of familial breast cancer patients

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of nursing intervention on the early screening cognition and behavior in first-degree relative of familial breast cancer patients.Methods:Two hundred and thirty first-degree relatives of breast cancer patients from the Breast Treatment Center of Chongqing Tumor Hospital were selected using the random sampling survey method.The first-degree relatives were treated with the nursing intervention for 1 year using the health belief mode.The data were collected before and after the intervention using self-designed questionnaire,and statistically analyzed.Results:Compared with before intervention,the cognitive score and participation rate of the early screening in first-degree relative of familial breast cancer patients obviously increased after inverention(P<0.01).Conclusions:Nursing intervention can effectively improve the awareness of early screening and early screening rate in first-degree relative of familial breast cancer patients,which is worthy of popularization and application.
