Effect of TSA on the expression of type Ⅰ Collagen in the scarring cytology model after glaucoma filtering surgery

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of trichostatin A(TSA) on the expression of type Ⅰ Collagen in the scarring cytology model after glaucoma filtering surgery(GFS).Methods:The cytology model of scarring after GFS was established.The effects of 600 nmol/L TSA on the expression levels of type Ⅰ Collagen mRNA and protein were detected using RT-PCR and Western blotting,respectively.Results:The results of RT-PCR and Western blotting showed that the 600 nmol/L TSA could inhibit the expression levels of type Ⅰ Collagen mRNA and protein(P<0.01 and P<0.05).Conclusions:TSA can reduce the expression levels of type Ⅰ Collagen mRNA and protein in the scarring cytology model after GFS.
