Short term efficacy of Mammotome minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of benign lesion of breast,and its effect on the beauty of breast

Objective: To investigate the short term efficacy of Mammotome minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of benign lesion of breast,and its effect on the beauty of breast.Methods: Eighty patients with benign breast lesions were divided into the observation group and control group according to random number table method.The observation group was treated with Mammotome minimally invasive surgery,and the control group was treated with traditional incision surgery.The treatment effects and breast appearance between two groups were compared.Results: All patients were successfully operated,a total of 156 tumor masses were resected.The results of postoperative pathology showed the 153 masses were benign,and 3 masses were breast cancer.The operative time,bleeding loss and hospitalization time in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05 to P<0.01),and the differences of the incidence rate of complications and mistaken cut rates between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The scores of breast shape,incision scar,nipple-areolar,pigmentation and breast sensation in observation group after 6 months of operation were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01).The satisfaction rate on the appearance of breast in observation group(100.0%) was higher than that in control group(80.0%)(P<0.01).Conclusions: The effect of Mammotome minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of benign breast lesion is good,which has high satisfaction rate,low operation risk,can maximumly conserve the breast appearance,and is worthy of application in clinic.
