The mycoplasma infection and drug sensitive situation of 2726 cases in Lianyungang

    • Objective:To investigate the mycoplasma infection status and drug sensitive situation in Lianyungang so as to provide the theoretical basis for clinical rational treatment. Methods:The clinical data of the culture and drug sensitivity of mycoplasma in 2 726 cases suspected by urogenital infection were retrospectively analyzed. Results:Among 2 726 patients, the mycoplasma infection in 1 226 cases(44.97%) were identified, which included the 995 cases(81.16%) of the positive UU infection,30 cases(2.45%) of positive MH infection and 201 cases(16.39%) of mixed infection. The mycoplasma infection rate in females(54.54%) was higher than that in males(26.48%) (P<0.01).The patients with positive UU infection were mostly sensitive to the minocycline, doxycycline and clarithromycin, and the patients with positive Mh were mostly sensitive to clarithromycin, minocycline and doxycycline, and the patients with mixed UU with MH were mostly sensitive to the minocycline and doxycycline. Conclusions:Mycoplasma is resistant to part of the antimicrobial drug.UU is the major pathogen of mycoplasma infection, followed by mixed UU with MH in Lianyungang, and the minocycline and doxycycline may be the first line drug in treating mycoplasma infection.Drug sensitivity test should be carried out in clinical practice to reduce empiric drug use.
