    Three-dimensional reconstruction and visualization of cerebral planum temporale

    • Objective:To establish a three-dimensional visualization model of the cerebral planum temporale using live MR images of healthy adults,and explore the anatomical features of the planum temporale.Methods:The slice MR scan data of a healthy male adult brain were imported into the Able Software 3D-Doctor,the three-dimensional visualization model was established using manual segmentation method,and the related structure was labeled using different colors.Results:A three-dimensional visualization model of the cerebral planum temporale was successfully constructed,which could successfully display the three-dimensional morphology of the planum temporale,lateral ventricle and brain surface,and the structural relationship with the surrounding brain tissue.Conclusions:The establishment of three-dimensional visualization model of the cerebral planum temporale has great value in the recognition of anatomical structures of the planum temporale,and design of stereotactic surgery.
