Comparative analysis of the level of plasma myeloperoxidase between healthy and unhealthy people

Objective: To investigate the value of the plasma level of myeloperoxidase(MPO) in healthy and unhealthy people.Methods: Nine hundred and ninety-eight related specimens were divided into the normal group(330 cases) and abnormal group(668 cases) according to the cardiovascular indexes(such as total cholesterol,blood lipid,blood pressure,blood routine and electrocardiogram) except the MPO.The MPO content in two groups was detected using ELISA kit,the MPO distribution was analyzed,and the detection method was evaluated.Results: The plasma MPO level was related to the gender,total cholesterol,blood pressure,blood lipid,blood routine and electrocardiogram.Conclusions: The establishment of the reference value of plasma MPO level can play an early warning role in abnormal cardiovascular state,and provide a reference for clinical application.
