Effect of the ectopic bone of adipose-derived stem cells in the repair of large area defect of maxillary

    • Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of the ectopic bone of adipose-derived stem cells in the repair of large area defect of maxillary. Methods:The maxillary defect model of rabbit was established, and the defect was repaired with ectopic bone of autologous adipose-derived stem cells. The repair effect was observed using biopsy and imaging examination. Results:The biopsy results showed that the new bone tissue vascularization was good and mature bone tissue structure. After 2 months of reconstruction, the rectus abdominis was basically completely atrophic, and the epithelialization was good.Acrylic fixed bridge restoration was successful, the good rate of function recovery was 97.9%.After 6 weeks of operation, the underjaw was detected using the conventional submandibular CT scan, and the 3D reconstruction of which was implemented. The new bone was obvious, and the new bone was identified in the center and edge of defect. After 8 weeks of operation, the defect had been completely restored. Conclusions:The ectopic bone of adipose-derived stem cells in the repair of large area defect of maxillary has no obvious rejection reaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
