Effect of nursing mode based on King interaction standard theory on the quality of life and compliance of hemodialysis patients

    • Objective:To explore the effects of nursing mode based on King interaction standard theory on the quality of life and compliance of hemodialysis patients.Methods:Eighty-four hemodialysis patients were randomly divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table(42 cases each group). The control group was nursed using traditional nursing method, and the study group was additionally nursed using the King interaction standard theory based on the control group. Two groups were assessed using the quality of life scale(SF-36) before and after 4 weeks of intervention, and the treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction between two groups were compared. Results:There was not statistical significance in the quality of life score between two groups before the intervention(P>0.05).After the intervention, the scores of physical function, role physical, body pain, general health, vitality, social expectation function, role emotional and mental health in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Before intervention, the difference of the good rate of treatment compliance between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and which in study group was higher than that in control group after intervention(P<0.01).The nursing satisfaction rates in study group and control group were 97.6% and 80.9%,respectively,and the difference of which between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions:The application of nursing mode based on King interaction standard theory in hemodialysis patients can help to improve the quality of life and treatment compliance of patients, which is worthy of promotion in clinic.
