    Clinical effect observation of the endoscopic full-thickness resection in treating gastric muscularis propria tumors

    • Objective: To compare the effects among the endoscopic full-thickness resection(EFR),laparotomy and laparoscopic surgery in treating gastric muscularis propria tumors.Methods: Among patients with gastric muscularis propria tumors,31 cases(EFR group),12 cases(laparotomy group) and 10 cases(laparoscopic group) were treated with EFR,laparotomy and laparoscopic surgery,respectively.The operation time,postoperative hospital stay,general expense,complications,relapse rate and metastatic rate among three groups were compared.Results: There were significant differences in operation time,postoperative hospital stay and general expense among three groups(P<0.05 to P<0.01).The results of pair-wise comparison showed that the postoperative hospital stay in EFR group was shorter than that in laparotomy group(P<0.05),the general expense in EFR group was less than that in other two groups(P<0.05 and P<0.01),and the general expense in laparotomy group was significantly less than that in laparoscopic group(P<0.01).The differences of the complicatiens were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The differences of risk factors grading were statistically significent(P<0.05).Conclusions: EFR in treating gastric muscularis propria tumors is small trauma,rapid recovery,low expense,safe and less recurrence,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
