    Investigation on the early health education of children aged 0 to 3 years in Bengbu

    • Objective: To investigate the early health education condition of 0 to 3 years old children,and understand the early growth and development of children for providing early scientific education in Bengbu.Methods: The early health education situation in 0 to 3 years old children from five communities selected by stratified cluster sampling method were investigated using self-programmed of early childhood health education questionnaire,psychological consultation and hospital cooperation way.Results: The 78.1% of children aged 0-3 years old were non-intergenerational reared,21.9% of children were intergenerational reared,and the difference of which was statistically significant(P<0.01).Breast-feeding accounted for 18.1%,85.7% of parents believed that the early healthy education was important in the growth and development of children,and 66.7% of educators hoped that the early education knowledge could be acquired through field visits.Conclusions: The early health education of children aged 0-3 years in Bengbu city needs to be improved,and the main education and early education base should be strengthened to promote the comprehensively healthy development.
