Survey on the training for academic degree postgraduate of clinical medicine-taking Anhui Province as a sample

Objective:To investigate the training situation of academic degree postgraduate of clinical medicine,to provide the basis for the improvement of training plan.Methods:The postgraduates from four medical universities in Anhui Province were investigated using self-compiled questionnaire,and the result of which was analyzed using descriptive statistics and logistic regression.Results:The reselection rate of academic degree students was 34.80%.The differences of the admission volunteer,reasons of selection,subsidy of tutor,experimental equipment,experimental instructor,occupation of tutor,subject level of tutor,project funds,times of guidance,reading literature,number of projects involved,relevance of thesis and tutor's topic,employment mentality and employment competitiveness among the students were statistically significant(P<0.05 to P<0.01).The possibility of reselecting an academic degree in students with research interest was less than that in students with adjust,no giving up learning opportunity and relieving employment pressure(P<0.01).The imperfection of equipment and inadequate project funds could reduce the possibility of reselecting an academic degree(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Compared with tutors direction,the senior schoolmates direction or no directions could reduce the possibility of reselecting an academic degree(P<0.05 to P<0.01).A reasonable times of tutors direction(3 to 5 times) per month was the promoting factor of reselecting an academic degree(P<0.05).Conclusions:Improving the experimental equipment,mentor system and training supervisory mechanism are the basis of training.The recognition degree of students on academic degree can affect the choice of academic degree.Improving the recognition degree of students on the academic degree and its importance are the initial impetus of subject development.
