Application effect of Allgower-Donati suture in the treatment of calcaneal fractures

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of Donati-Allgower method in suturing the calcaneal fracture incision.Methods:Fifty calcaneal fracture patients treated with open reduction and internal fixation were randomly divided into the observation group(24 cases) and control group(26 cases) according to the admission order.The observation group were treated with Allgower-Donati method suturing incision,and the control group were treated with vertical mattress method suturing incision.The clinical curative effect and wound healing in two groups were observed after 3 months of surgery.Results:The excellent and good rate in observation group(91.67%) was higher than that in control group(65.38%)(P<0.05),and the incidence rate of incision complication in observation group(4.17%) was lower than that in control group(30.77%)(P<0.05).Conclusions:The Allgower-Donati suture technique in suturing calcaneal fracture incision is simple operation,which can effectively protect the blood supply of flap,reduce the surgical incision necrosis and infection,and is worthy of clinical application.
