Effect of hospital-family linkage intervention on the subjective quality of life and behavior problems in children with Tourette syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of hospital-family linkage intervention on the subjective quality of life and behavior problems in children with Tourette syndrome(TS) for providing a basis in comprehensive treatment.Methods:One hundred and ten TS children were randomly divided into the observation group(n=55) and control group(n=55).The control group was treated with conventional method,and the observation group was additionally treated with hospital-family linkage intervention based on the control group.The subjective quality of life and behavior problems in two groups before treatment and after 8 months of treatment were investigated using ISLQ and CBCL,and which was compared and analyzed.Results:After intervention,the total scores of subjective quality of life and behavior problems in observation group were significantly higher and lower than that in control group,respectively(P<0.01),and the understanding degree of TS and satisfaction degree in observation group significantly increased(P<0.01).Conclusions:The hospital-family linkage intervention can improve the subjective quality of life,and reduce the incidence of behavior problems of TS children,which can promote the physical and psychological rehabilitation of children with TS.
