ObjectiveTo optimize the extraction process of Lonicerae flos and to establish an HPLC method to detect chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A rapidly.
MethodsThe content of chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A was simultaneously determined by HPLC and used as an indicator to compare the effect of the four factors(alcohol concentration, reflux time, ultrasonic power and ultrasonic time) on the extraction process, optimize the extraction process of Lonicerae flos by ultrasonic-assisted alcohol method.
ResultsTaking the comprehensive score of chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A as an indicator, the best extraction process was using 60% alcohol ultrasounding(power 500W) for 45 min, then reflux extraction for 1 hour.
ConclusionsAn accurate and sensitive detection method is established, the optimized extraction process is economical and efficient, which can provide theoretical basis for production.
