Effect analysis of multimedia health education in day ward in the application of the patients treated with great saphenous vein stripping during the perioperative period

ObjectiveTo analyze the effects of multimedia health education in day ward in the application of the patients treated with great saphenous vein stripping during the perioperative period.

MethodsOne hundred patients with varicose vein of lower limb were randomly divided into the observation group and control group (50 cases each group).All patients were treated with the great saphenous vein stripping in day ward combined with routine care, and the observation group was additionally nursed with multimedia health education during perioperative period.The treatment effect, postoperative complications, recovery, treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction between two groups were compared.

ResultsThe effective rates in two groups were 100%, and the difference of which was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The score of treatment compliance and postoperative use rate of elastic stocking in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.01).The nursing satisfaction and disease awareness in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05 and P < 0.01).

ConclusionsThe multimedia health education in day ward can ensure the treatment effect, and improve the nursing satisfaction and disease awareness.It is worthy of clinical application.
