Effect of the nalbuphine hydrochloride combined with sufentanil citrate on postoperative analgesia after cesarean section

    • ObjectiveTo compare the effects between nalbuphine combined with sufentanil and dezocine combined with sufentanil on postoperative venous analgesia after caesarean section.
MethodsSixty parturient women were treated with patient controlled intravenous analgesia(PCIA) after cesarean section under combined lumbar and epidural anesthesia, and randomly divided into the observation group and control group(30 cases each group). The PCIA in observation group and control group was implemented with nalbuphine hydrochloride combined with sufentanil citrate and dezocine combined with sufentanil citrate, respectively. The mean arterial pressure, heart rate, pulse oxygen saturation, quiescent pain VAS score, static dynamic pain VAS score, uterine contractions pain VAS score and Ramsay score between two groups at 2, 6, 12, 24 and 48 h after operation were compared, and the times of PCIA analgesic pressing and adverse reactions in two groups were recorded.
ResultsAfter 2, 6, 12, 24 and 48 h of operation, the differences of the mean arterial pressure, heart rate, pulse oxygen saturation, quiescent pain VAS score, static dynamic pain VAS score and Ramsay score between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05), and the difference of the uterine contractions pain VAS score between two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The time of PCIA analgesic pressing and incidence rate of adverse reaction in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P < 0.01).
ConclusionsNalbuphine hydrochloride combined with sufentanil citrate is a safe and effective analgesic method for cesarean section, especially for uterine contractions pain. The times of the PCIA analgesiac pressing reduce obviously after operation, and the incidence rate of adverse reaction is low.
