Effect of clopidogrel combined with aspirin on inflammatory cytokines and coagulation function in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction

    • ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of clopidogrel combined with aspirin on inflammatory cytokines and coagulation function in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction.
MethodsOne hundred and five elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the observation group(52 cases) and control group(53 cases). The observation group and control group were treated with clopidogrel combined with aspirin and aspirin, respectively. The curative effect and differences of inflammatory factorsincluding high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-alpha) and interleukin-33 (IL-33), thrombin function indictorsincluding prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and thrombin factor_Ⅲ (FⅩⅢ) between before and after treatment were observed in two groups.
ResultsThe effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.05).After treatment, the serum levels of Hs-CRP, TNF-a and IL-33 in observation group were lower than those in control group(P < 0.05), and the levels of PT and APTT in observation group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05), and the level of F X Ⅲ in observation group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.05).
ConclusionsThe clopidogrel combined with baiaspirin can improve the therapeutic effect of acute cerebral infarction, reduce the inflammation reaction, improve coagulation function, and the effect of which is better than that of baiaspirin alone.
