Short-term curative effect observation of SuperPATH minimally invasive hip arthroplasty in the treatment of femoral neck fractures in elderly patients

    • ObjectiveTo observe the short-term curative effects of SuperPATH minimally invasive hip arthroplasty in the treatment of femoral neck fractures in elderly patients.
MethodsForty Graden Ⅲ, Ⅳ femoral neck fracture elderly patients were enrolled in a randomized controlled study.According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into the observation group and control group(20 cases in each group). The observation group was treated with SuperPATH minimally invasive hip arthroplasty, The short-term curative effect was compared between two groups.
ResultsNo complications such as dislocation, periprosthetic fracture and infection occurred in both groups within 6 months after surgery. The incision length and intraoperative hemorrhage in observation group were less than those in control group, and the Harris hip scores in observation group after 7 days, 1 and 2 months of operation were higher than that in control group(P < 0.01).The differences of the operation time, postoperative hip imaging evaluation and Harris score of hip after 6 months of operation were not statistically significant(P>0.05).
ConclusionsThe SuperPATH minimally invasive hip arthroplasty has small incision, less intraoperative bleeding and rapid postoperative recovery.
