Research on the situation of hypertension control and its influencing factors in the community of Bengbu

ObjectiveTo investigate the situation of hypertension control and its influencing factors in the community of Bengbu, and improve the effective control rate of hypertension.

MethodsThe related data of 165 patients with hypertension from the four communities of Dongsheng street and Jiefang street in Longzihu district of Bengbu according to the random sampling were analyzed using χ² test, t test and logistic regression analysis.

ResultsThe control rates of hypertension in 60 cases among 165 patients(36.4%) were up to standard, The single factor analysis results of gender, age, marital status, salt intake etc.showed that there were statistical significances in the effects of age, sleep status, medication status and complications on blood pressure control rate(P < 0.05).According to single factor analysis, the logistic regeression analysis of multiple factors showed that there were statistical significances in the age, irrational drug, sleeping disorders and accompanying diseases(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).The age ≥65 and antihypertensive drug use were the protective factors of blood pressure control(P < 0.05), and the complications and sleep disorder were the risk factors of blood pressure control(P < 0.01).

ConclusionsThe age ≥ 65 and rational drug treatment may be the protective factors of blood pressure control, and the complications and sleep disorder may be the risk factors of blood pressure control.Community should strengthen the standardized management of patients with hypertension to effectively improve the control rate of hypertension.
