Application value of body position simulation in holmium laser lithotripsy surgery

    • Objective To investigate the effects of body position simulation in patients treated with holmium laser lithotripsy before anesthesia.
Methods Fifty-eight patients treated with holmium laser lithotripsy were randomly divided into the observation group and control group(29 cases in each group). The control group was subjected to lithotomy position, and the observation group was subjected to postural simulation before anesthesia. The occurrence of postoperative postural complications, comfort of patients, postural placement time and surgeon satisfaction were compared between two groups.
Results The incidence of postoperative 48 h postural complications in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the comfort level in observation group was better than that in control group(P < 0.01).The position placement time in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the satisfaction of surgeons to the position placement in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.01).
Conclusions The body position simulation in patients treated with holmium laser lithotripsy before anesthesia can effectively improve the patient's autonomous comfort, shorten the operative position placement time, improve the surgeon's satisfaction with the operative position placement, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
