    The application value of "Micro-course combined with flipped classroom" in clinical teaching of ICU nursing students

    • Objective To explore the application value of "Micro-course combined with flipped classroom" in clinical teaching of ICU nursing students.
      Methods Thirty nursing students from June to August 2019, and 30 nursing students from September to November 2019 of ICU in The First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College were divided into the control group and observation group, respectively.The control group and observation group were taught using the raditional method and micro-class combined with flipped classroom teaching method, respectively.The theory test, skill performance, comprehensive ability and teaching satisfaction were compared between two groups, and the effects of micro-class combined with flipped classroom was evaluated.
      Results The scores of theory test, skill test, comprehensive ability and teaching satisfaction in observation group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).
      Conclusions The teaching mode of "micro-course combined with flipped classroom" can effectively improve the comprehensive ability of clinical practice of nursing students in ICU.
