Study on the expression levels of 8-isoprostane, SOD, AOA, NF-κB and iNOS in patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion

    • ObjectiveTo investigate the expression levels of 8-isoprostane, SOD, AOA, NF-kB and iNOS in patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion and their effects, and explore the pathogenesis of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion.
MethodsFrom January 2018 to October 2019, 119 maternal patients were selected, and divided into the case group(60 cases with unexplained recurrent abortion) and control group(59 cases with normal pregnancy delivery). The levels of 8-isoprostane, SOD, AOA and other oxidative stress indicators(NF-κB and iNOS) in the blood and villous decidua tissue were compared between two groups.
ResultsThere was no statistical significance in the AOA level in blood between two groups(P>0.05), the levels of 8-isoprostane, NF-κB and iNOS in case group were significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.01), and the SOD level in case group was significantly lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).The difference of the AOA level in chorion decidua tissue between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05), the levels of 8-isoprostane and NF-κ in chorion decidua tissue in case group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.01), and the level of SOD in case group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThere are significant differences in the expression levels of 8-isoprostane, SOD, NF-κB and iNOS in blood and chorion decidua tissue between patients with unexplained recurrent abortion and normal pregnant women, and they can be used as an important factor to predict the occurrence of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion.
