Effect of acetylcysteine combined with low-molecular-weight heparin on pulmonary function and blood gas in patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia

    • ObjectiveTo analyze the effects of acetylcysteine combined with low-molecular-weight heparin on pulmonary function and blood gas in patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia(ⅡP).
MethodsNinety-eight patients with ⅡP were randomly divided into the observation group and control group(49 cases in each group). The control group was treated with conventional method, and the observation group was additionally treated with acetylcysteine combined with low-molecular-weight heparin on the basis of the control group for 2 months. The changes of pulmonary function index, arterial blood gas analysis and clinical symptoms between two groups were compared before and after treatment.
ResultsAfter 2 months of treatment, the scores of dyspnea, cough, expectoration and lung Velcro sound in observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.01), and significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.01).After treatment, the arterial partial pressure of oxygen in two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.01), and the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide in two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment(P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe treatment of acetylcysteine combined with low-molecular-weight heparin is beneficial to improve the pulmonary function of patients with ⅡP and improve the arterial partial pressure of oxygen, and has good clinical effects.
