Application value of respiratory patch combined with changing body position nursing in children with pneumonia

ObjectiveTo explore the effects of respiratory patch combined with changing body position nursing in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia.

MethodsA total of 300 pediatric patients with pneumonia were randomly divided into the control group and observation group(30 cases in each group).The control group received the conventional treatment and position nursing, and the observation group were treated with respiratory patch combined with changing position nursing based on the conventional measurements.The symptom resolution time, efficacy, incidence rate of adverse reactions and parent's satisfaction were compared between two groups.

ResultsThe cough disappearance time, lung murmur disappearance time, fever reduction time, asthma disappearance time and hospital stays in observation group were significnatly shorter than in control group(P < 0.01).The C reactive protein level in observation group significantly decreased compared with the control group (P < 0.01).The total effective rate in observation group(98.67%) was significantly better than that in control group(89.33%)(P < 0.01).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.05), and the patient's satisfaction in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.05).

ConclusionsThe respiratory patch combined with changing position nursing has significantly clinical effects and high safety in children with pneumonia, which can significantly improve patient's satisfaction, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
