Influence of nursing model based on quality management tools on quality of life and adverse cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease

    • Objective To explore the influence of nursing model based on quality management tools on quality of life and adverse cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease.
Methods One hundred patients with coronary heart disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and control group. The control group received routine nursing management. The observation group adopted a nursing model based on quality management tools. The results of 6-min walking test, quality of life score and compliance score of nursing intervention were compared between the two groups before intervention (the day of admission) and after intervention (followed up for 3 months), and the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events was compared between the two groups during follow-up.
Results The results of walking test and compliance score of nursing intervention in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after intervention, and the scores of quality of life were significantly lower than those in the control group after intervention(P < 0.01).The total incidence of cardiovascular adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group during the follow-up period (P < 0.05).
Conclusions The quality management tools can analyze the factors influencing the management objectives, which helps to improve the prognosis of the disease and shows great significance to the rehabilitation of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.
