Analysis of the frailty state and its influencing factors in elderly patients with atrial fibrillation

    • ObjectiveTo analyze the frailty state and its influencing factors in elderly patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).
MethodsThe clinical data of 124 elderly patients with AF were collected by random sampling survey. The frailty state of all patients was evaluated using FRAIL scale, and its relevant influencing factors were analyzed.
ResultsThe age, exercise status, eating habits, nutritional status, anxiety symptoms, depression symptoms, sleep status, cognitive function and other factors had a significant impact on the frailty state of patients(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).The results of logistic multiple regression analysis showed that the age, nutritional status, ability of daily life, sleep status and cognitive function were positively correlated with the frailty state of patients(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe age, sleep status and cognitive function are the risk factors of the frailty state of patients with AF.The older the patients, the lower the ability of daily life, the worse the sleep status, and the worse the cognitive function, and the more serious the frailty are.
