ObjectiveTo explore the teaching effects of the blending teaching model of "ideological and political elements integrating into the medical ultrasound imaging "in the perspective of "morality education".
MethodsA total of 184 students majoring in medical imaging from grade 2017 in Bengbu Medical College were investigated.The students were taught using "Internet+course ideology and politics" and case teaching, which could organically combined the ideological and political elements with ultrasound professional knowledge.The teaching effects were assessed by the curriculum ideology and politics teaching questionnaire, caring ability inventory(CAI) scale and california critical thinking disposition inventory(CTDI) scale.
ResultsAfter the implementation of the teaching, more than 90% of students believed that it effectively improved the sense of patriotism, enhanced the outlook on life and values, and strengthened the sense of professional identity, responsibility of curing patients, professional ethics and professional quality, humanistic care concept and doctor-patient communication skills, etc.The score of each dimension and total score of students' CAI scale and CTDI scale after teaching were higher than those before teaching(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe blending teaching model of "the ideological and political elements integrating into medical ultrasound imaging" in the perspective of "morality education" can play a significant role in cultivating the remarkable and socialistic medical imaging talents.
