Application effects of the wet healing dressing combined with wound assessment triangulation in skin and mucosa separation of enterostomy

    • ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effects of wound assessment triangulation combined with wet dressing on skin and mucosa separation in patients treated with colostomy.
MethodsSeventy patients with enterostomy skin complicated with mucosa separation after Miles operation were selected, and divided into the observation group(n=34) and control group(n=36) by random number table method. The control group was treated with the routine stoma nursing, and the skin and mucosa separation wound was filled with oilgauze dressing. The observation group was treated with the wound assessment triangle combined with wet healing dressing. The wound healing time, average number of dressing changes, incidence of stoma stenosis and peristoma dermatitis were compared between two groups. The effects of the scores of life quality in two groups on the nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.
ResultsThe wound healing time in observation group was significantly shorter than that in control group(P < 0.01).The average number of dressing changes in observation group was less than that in control group(P < 0.01).The incidence rate of stoma stenosis in observation group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).The incidence rate of peristomal dermatitis in observation group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).The quality of life score in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.01).The nursing satisfaction in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.05).
ConclusionsThe wound evaluation triangulation combined with wet healing dressing can promote the wound healing at the separation of skin and mucosa of enterostomy, reduce the dressing times, reduce the workload of medical care, reduce the incidence rates of stenosis and peripheral dermatitis, and improve the quality of life and improve nursing satisfaction of patients.
