Application of combined chest pain APP in promoting the construction of hospital chest pain center

    • ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of chest pain combination APP in the construction of chest pain center.
MethodsA total of 43 ST-segment elevated acute myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) before the application of chest pain combination APP (from January 2020 to January 2021) were included in the control group, and 76 STEMI patients undergoing PCI after the application of chest pain combination APP (from February 2021 to February 2022) were included in the observation group. The time of attending the first visit, first electrocardiogram time, catheter activation time, double anti-drug administration time, wire passing time and in-hospital mortality rate of the two groups were compared.
ResultsThe time of attending the first visit, first electrocardiogram time, catheter activation time, double anti-drug administration time and wire passing time in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group (P < 0.01). The in-hospital mortality rate of patients in the observation group was 2.63% (2/76), which was not significantly different from that of 9.30% (4/43) in the control group (P>0.05).
ConclusionsThe application of chest pain combination APP in the construction of chest pain center can effectively shorten the emergency response time of STEMI patients, and improve the treatment efficiency, which has good clinical application value.
